The Macallan Double Cask 12 Year

It was hard to identify my favorite part of this event- the helicopter ride over the Hudson Valley or the delicious taste of the new Macallan Double Cask?  We learned so much about the production process of this new whiskey- both European and American oak is used to make the barrels which is then seasoned with sherry in Spain. Here’s some photos from the event, I probably would have taken more but I was busy drinking scotch all day! Thanks to the Macallan for having me.
